Frequently asked questions
From what age can I get a passport photo for my child?
We can take a passport photo from birth onward - even for newborns. For the youngest, we adapt our approach and use special techniques for correct positioning.
Can I hold the child during the photo session?
Yes, for babies a parent may hold the child. Your hands are later digitally removed from the photo so that only the correct biometric photo of the child remains.
What if the child cries or does not cooperate?
We understand that photographing children requires patience. We take enough time and try again until we get a suitable photo. No extra charge.
Does a baby need an e-fotograf certificate?
Yes, from 2 April 2026, the e-fotograf digital certificate is mandatory for everyone, including babies and children. At Foto Express, we include this certificate with every service.
How long does photographing a child take?
For babies and younger children, the process may take a little longer - usually 5-10 minutes, depending on the child's cooperation.
